Wedding Prep Shoot: Jodie and Ben

February 22, 2011 | Posted under: Pre-Wedding Shoot by Emma | 1 Comment

We’re looking forward to shooting at Rhinefield House this Spring time and will be there a couple of times over the next few months. Jodie and Ben’s wedding will be held in mid May when we’re hoping the garden will be blooming a little more and we can make the most of the hotel’s lovely grounds. Who knows.. we may even be able to ditch our scarves and gloves by then *sigh*!

It was a slightly more wintery and chilly day when we met up them both for a wedding prep this weekend. Here our some photos from our little preparation shoot around Rhinefield House’s garden.

Wedding Shoot: Hayley & Martin at St Huberts and Rhinefield House

April 26, 2010 | Posted under: Wedding Photography by Emma | 7 Comments

On a sunny Spring Friday (I think I’m safe in saying the warmest day of the year so far – down South at least) we photographed the wedding of Hayley and Martin.

The day was to take us across two county borders with the ceremony taking place at St Hubert’s Church in Corfe Mullen, Dorset and the reception being held at Rhinefield House within the New Forest in Hampshire.

Things kicked off at the very quaint St Hubert’s where we met up with Martin before the ceremony and awaited the arrival of Hayley. She arrived in a very special Rolls Royce (with a golden Flying Lady rather than the traditional silver). Hayley looked absolutely beautiful…

as did her bridesmaids.

Proud parents.

Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take any photographs during the ceremony, which was a shame – but we were allowed to keep our cameras out for the arrival of the bride.

The happy couple.

Introducing the Best Man, Will who was extremely helpful with rounding up the herds for the group shots.

The aforementioned Golden Flying Lady.

We had some time for some family shots at the Church before everyone made their way to Rhinefield House. It’s a 50 minute drive between venues but it was smooth running – we love our Sat Nav! The journey down Ornamental Drive is so beautiful and is a lovely introduction to Rhinefield House .

A bubbly welcome.

Guests entertained themselves on the lawn with Bucks Fizz and a spot of croquet and giant Jenga.

I love Hayley’s bouquet so much. Such beautiful pastel colours.

The lovely purple tones continued with tulip table settings.

Hayley and Martin had a mind-blowing alternative to a wedding cake – croquembouche. I think it’s actually more stable than it looks as the profiteroles are bound with spun caramel.

With everyone sat we left them in peace to enjoy their meal.

Keeping our ear out for the cutting (and the gentle prising) of the croquembouche,

and the start of the speeches.

With the day winding down and no evening reception for us to photograph, once everyone had finished their food we just had time for some shots in the garden whilst Hayley and Martin had some fresh air and then we said our goodbyes. It was a such a peaceful, warm evening. The end to a perfect Spring wedding.
