Alex and Kate’s Wedding Prep in Bibury, Gloucestershire

May 20, 2013 | Posted under: Wedding Photography by Emma | Leave a Comment

We made our way over to the Cotswolds last week to meet up with Alex and Kate for the first time.

They’re getting married at the very pretty Cripps Barn, although we’re also having a little tour of Gloucestershire with Kate’s preps at Bibury Court Hotel and the Groom’s Party getting ready at the luscious-looking Cats Abbey.

After looking around the venue we took some time walking around the picturesque village of Bibury and the iconic Arlington Row whilst Alex’s parents got the teas in . Alex actually proposed to Kate on one of the bridges here.. Tres romantique.

Marcia and James’ Wedding Prep at Trafalagar Park, Salisbury

May 3, 2013 | Posted under: Pre-Wedding Shoot by Emma | 1 Comment

We met up with Marcia and James this week and travelled to Salisbury to check out the venue for their wedding in a few weeks.

They’re getting married at Trafalgar Park – a characterful house in Downton that was once used as a location for 28 Days Later. It would be a great place to host a wedding if any film buffs were up for a zombie-themed party, hey?

Marcia and James had a full engagement shoot last year in the New Forest. It was a little warmer this time as we had a little wander around the house and grounds. There were lots of little secret doors and painted murals. We think we’re going to have fun exploring all the spots on their wedding day.
