Wedding Album: Helen and Dan’s Finao ONE
Helen and Dan’s Wedding Album was a pearly beauty. Made up of shots from their wedding day at Parley Manor , it was the first album we’d put together since our album manufacturer, Finao launched its dedicated iPad app. I think it helped us to come up with a lovely combination of colours and materials.
I managed to snap it up before it was whisked away. We loved it!
Our new Finao Rave books
Our final new album choice has arrived and we snapped up some shots of it at the weekend. We’re a little bit in love with these books and think they’re the perfect option for those who love the “vintage with a twist” look.
These 8″x8″ Finao Raves are like the ultimate coffee table book. They come in a wide range of beautiful brocade silk materials and other faux leather options. They’re also slim, lightweight and portable so you don’t need much space to store them safely.
If you’re ordering one of these, or our larger Finao ONE feature album you can also pick up a smaller 5″x5″ version to give to your Parents or bridesmaids.

The pages are lay flat and unlike a standard coffee table book they’re hinged and carefully constructed. This means you can open the book out fully without worrying about breaking the spine. We can also go to town with your album design and let your pictures spread out over two pages.
The pages aren’t thick but they’re lovely quality.

Our new Kiss albums
We’ve been busy tracking down some new albums to offer to our wedding and portrait clients to sit alongside our flagship Finao ONE album. Our priority was to find a couple of different products that would suit different budgets or tastes.
In total we now have three different album options, the second of which being this 8″x8″ leather Kiss book. 
Just like our FInao ONE album, the Kiss book is made up of very thick, durable pages and the images are printed directly onto the page so there are no photos to fall out over time. These albums are then bound together with a simple, plain but excellent quality leather cover. There are seven different colours to choose from; Blue (pictured), Red (pictured), White, Green, Pink, Brown and Black.
Each album comes presented in its own cloth bag so you can keep it safe and carry it around with you without risking the leather getting marked.
The album pages also lay flat so there’s no cut down the middle of the page and we can stretch your images out without them falling into a book gutter.
As an added bonus, we’re throwing in two identical little 4″x4″ books with every order. These are perfect little miniature copies of your main album and will make great presents for bridesmaids or your Best Man. You can order more of these little ‘uns though if you need books for your parents, Ushers or any other friends who have helped you with your day. Or if you just want a little one for yourself to carry in your handbag!

Our new Print Portfolio Boxes
It makes us so sad when photos are left on disk or tucked away in a folder on a computer’s hard drive. We don’t doubt the intention to do something with them is always there, but it’s one of those things that ends up waiting for “another time”. We’ll put our hands up and say we’re guilty of this too. However, over the past year we’ve made lots more effort to get shots up around our home, or to make little keepsake albums. It’s amazing how we’re much more inclined to look at them.
We want you to be able to put your pictures in frames without the hassle of ordering. We also want you to be able to see your shots professionally mounted so they make a real statement when you hang them up. Because of this we’re going to be throwing in this Print Portfolio Box for all weddings after November 2011, regardless of whether you’ve booked a Full Day or a Half Day. The DVD of all your shots can then be tucked up safely inside.
Our first Portfolio Box came this afternoon and we can’t wait to show people! It’s small enough to fit onto a shelf without being cumbersome, but measuring 10″x8″ it feels very special. Open up the cushioned lid and you’ll find fifteen different mounts inside, each showcasing up to three different lustre prints (up to 45 images in total).
Framing some of your favourite shots from your wedding will be a doddle. And, with so much choice, you can swap them around in a frame whenever you fancy a change of scene.
